Mid Michigan College is excited to announce that a ‘curbside’ event will be hosted at the Mt. Pleasant Campus (2600 South Summerton Road), to provide safe, convenient services and resources to the community. The event will take place 11am-4pm Tuesday, August 25 and will allow attendees to complete and enjoy a variety of tasks while on campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees will be able to drive-thru or walk-up to get assistance with financial aid, academic advising, registration for fall courses, and to make tuition payments and pick-up pre-ordered textbooks. Plus, those in attendance can meet Mid’s mascot, Harry the Heron, take home Lifelong Learning Make & Take Craft Kits (limited quantities available), and enjoy lunch from local food trucks. The Mt. Pleasant Campus Store will also be open (face coverings required).

Community resources will also be available at the event including career assistance from MiWorks!.

“Our goal with this event is to provide those interested in attending college this fall or those looking for help in deciding what to do next, a safe, convenient way to access those services,” explained Matt Miller, Vice President of Student Services at Mid Michigan College. “We’re excited to create a fun atmosphere while practicing social distancing and maintaining a healthy environment for all who join us.”

Mid Michigan College is preparing for a fresh start this fall semester with courses taking place on-campus and remotely through a variety of delivery methods.
