Mid Michigan Community College (MMCC) is committed to providing a safe and positive learning environment for students, faculty and staff. In an effort to keep the campus community informed, aware and safe the college has a notification system, Mid Alert!, which allows college administration to send notifications out the campus community.
There are two components to the system:
- an emergency notification, which allows campus administration to send out time-sensitive information, such as emergency situations, inclement weather, and campus closures and
- general campus information, such as activities, notices and announcements.
Currently enrolled students, by default, are enrolled in MidAlert! notifications and will receive voice calls (to the telephone number listed on file) and at their @midmich.edu email address. To receive emergency notifications and general campus information via text message one must enroll. To inquire if you are enrolled, to update your preferences, your mobile carrier, or to stop receiving MidAlert! text messages please visit the Mid Account Profile web page or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
