TAI 207 Theatre - Comedy Course (3)

Discussion of comedy theatre including all aspects of a production. A comedy production is included as part of the course. Fall & Winter offer different courses according to the genre of the performances.


TAI 277 Stagecraft & Lighting Course (4)

This course includes the basic principles of scenery construction and the theory and practice of stage lighting. Participation with the technical aspects of a production for the Winter Semester


TAI 275 Theatre Appreciation Course (3)

A survey of theatre history and an introduction to basic types of plays; concepts of professional and amateur; and principles of play selection, casting, and promotion are covered in this course.


TAI 287 Costuming (3) Independent Study

This course is a survey of costume history, Egyptian to the present, and includes an introduction to design and construction techniques.This also involves working on the current production with costuming the cast.


TAI 204 Theatre-Musical Course (3)

Discussion of musical theatre including all aspects of a production. A musical production is included as part of the course.


TAI 205 Children’s Theatre Course (3)

Discussion of theatre for children including all aspects of a production. A children’s theatre production is included as part of the course.


TAI 206 Mystery Production Course (3)

Discussion of mystery as a form of theatre including all aspects of a production. A mystery production is included as part of the course.


TAI 207 Theatre - Comedy Course (3)

Discussion of comedy theatre including all aspects of a production. A comedy production is included as part of the course.


TAI 208 Theatre-Serious Drama Course (3)

Discussion of serious drama including all forms of tragedy. A serious dramatic production is included as part of the course.
