Official Rules
- No purchase necessary to enter to win. If you cannot enter as described, email your entry to midmich@midmich.edu.
- This giveaway is governed exclusively by the laws of Michigan. Participation is only open to legal residents of Michigan, who are 18 years of age or older on the date of entry. Employees of Mid Michigan College (“Mid”) are not eligible to win, but may participate in the sweepstakes.
- Detailed information regarding how to enter each sweepstakes will be posted on the Mid's social media platform(s) with a message explaining the specific dates the contest will run, what platform it will be on, and specific details about how to enter.
- Entry method does not increase the chances of winning. Only one entry per person is accepted.
- Entrants may only win once per promotion.
- Entrants who do not comply with these rules or who attempt to interfere with sweepstakes in any way shall be disqualified from any current and future sweepstakes offered by Mid.
- Winners are selected randomly from all entries received and notified via the social media platform where the sweepstakes was offered.
- Winners must be able to provide valid State of Michigan issued photo identification upon request.
- Winners have forty eight (48) hours upon being notified by Mid to accept the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted within this time period the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
- Prizes must be claimed by the selected winner(s) and picked up at a Mid Michigan College campus location within a reasonable time frame. If a winner is unable to come to campus to campus to collect their prize, alternate methods of delivery will be considered. Shipping a prize directly to a winner will not be considered due to cost.
- The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entrants received.
- The prize will be specified on Mid's social media platforms where the sweepstakes is offered. If the number of entries does not equal the number of available prizes, the number of prizes will be reduced and used for future sweepstakes.
- By entering the sweepstakes the entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Mid Michigan College. Mid's decisions on winners will be final and binding on all matters relating to the sweepstakes.
- A list of all winners will be made available at the end of the contest on Mid's social media platforms and social sweepstakes web page for a pre-determined amount of time.
- Participation in this sweepstakes and acceptance of prize constitutes winner’s permission for Mid to use, exploit, adapt, modify, reproduce, distribute, and publicly display their name, address (city and state), likeness, photograph, picture, portrait, voice, biographical information and/or any statements made by the winner and the winner’s guest regarding the sweepstakes or Mid without notice or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
- Mid Michigan College sweepstakes are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the social media platforms on which they appear (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.). When entering these sweepstakes you are providing your information/content to Mid, and not the social media platforms on which the information/content appears (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.). By participating in these sweepstakes you agree to a complete release of the social media platform on which the sweepstakes appears from any claims.
