October 30. What a fun day it was . . . aching feet and all! So many students, so many employers, and so much stuff.

My first night take-aways! I spent most of my day as a volunteer in and near the Advanced Manufacturing sector so the images capture only a small portion of the day’s activities!

First to acknowledge the special contributions of Avalon and Tahoe as Silver sponsors of the event. Thanks for being there and, WoW, the kids really liked the Party Pontoon. Pic below is your people having some fun with students from FlexTech High School.

This is my favorite image of the day! Merrill Institute also had some fun with their Insta-Gram Photo Frame. Seeing the kids from St. Louis Middle School smiling was the best thing.

It was great to see students connecting with businesses and educators across our region. Shepherd High School students enjoyed the Mid Michigan College (Bronze Sponsors) Skilled Trades Booth, Roll-rite of Gladwin (Bronze Sponsors), and Tannas Company of Midland.

In the photo below Gladwin High School students show Xalt Energy how that robot is really supposed to work! More Gladwin students connect with a local favorite, D & W Finepack.

Educators and volunteers had a lot of good things to say about the organization or the event. Lunch was great, too! Students were extremely well-behaved and we were so proud of the Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, and Isabella County kids!!

Students and Employers both would like to have more time and elbow room next year so that the true intentions of the event can be met for more students.
