This pathway includes courses that have been approved through the Michigan Transfer Network, which allows you to take advantage of Statewide associate to bachelor's degree transfer agreements. Learn more about transfer agreements and review advising resources.

Business Studies Transfer - LUCES

This pathway provides students enrolled in the LUCES program a pathway to complete their first two semesters utilizing LUCES courses. Students then transition to traditional course options.


Northwood University Transfer Pathways

Northwood 3+1 Enhanced Business Studies Transfer - Accounting

This pathway is designed to allow you to spend 3 years at Mid and one year at Northwood University where you will graduate with a bachelor's degree. Accounting is the practice of recording and analyzing financial transactions to ensure a business or organization operates efficiently, profitably, and in compliance with laws and regulations. Accountants work with financial reports, inspecting finance records to reduce costs, improve profits, and ensure compliance. Potential careers include forensic accountant, financial analyst, personal financial advisor, actuary, cost estimator, and more.

Northwood 3+1 Enhanced Business Studies Transfer - Healthcare Management

This pathway is designed to allow you to spend 3 years at Mid and one year at Northwood University where you will graduate with a bachelor's degree. Healthcare managers and administrators are in charge of a variety of tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and seeking out ways to improve patient care and the health of the communities they serve. Healthcare managers spend their time managing and coordinating health services in clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes. Potential careers include healthcare administrator, physician practice manager, managed care representative, patient finance manager, population health manager, and more.

Northwood 3+1 Enhanced Business Studies Transfer - Management

This pathway is designed to allow you to spend 3 years at Mid and one year at Northwood University where you will graduate with a bachelor's degree. A management degree provides you with broad knowledge of business, finance, economics, and marketing, as well as a wide range of practical skills and experience. Management graduates can work in a large variety of careers including public, private, and voluntary sectors. Potential careers include management consultant, production manager, project manager, risk management, and more.

Northwood 3+1 Enhanced Business Studies Transfer - Management Information Systems

This pathway is designed to allow you to spend 3 years at Mid and one year at Northwood University where you will graduate with a bachelor's degree. Companies communicate, handle transactions, and share information using digital technology - and those companies need highly-skilled employees to keep all of those systems running. A Management Information Systems degree prepares you with skills related to programming language, the infrastructure of operating systems and networks, graphics, and web design. You’ll also learn how to design and manage complex databases. Potential careers include systems administrator, data specialist, network administrator, technical project manager, and more.


Wayne State University Transfer Pathways

Wayne State 3+1 Enhanced Business Studies Transfer

A new articulation agreement between Mid Michigan College and Wayne State University allows you to follow a prescribed plan of study to transfer up to 82 credits to WSU while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the Mike Ilitch School of Business, saving between $14,000 and $22,000 in tuition. You can pursue a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, global supply chain management, information systems management, management, or marketing using our specific pathways for those fields of study. Wayne State 3+1 Enhanced Business Studies Transfer - Accounting

This pathway is designed to allow you to spend 3 years at Mid and one year at Wayne State University where you will graduate with a bachelor's degree.   • WSU offers two Information Systems Management Pathways, Inbound Information Technology Specialist and Enterprise Architecture.

Community colleges and universities have collaborated to simplify the transfer process by developing MiTransfer Pathways. These transfer pathways build on the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA), which makes it easier for students to transfer their general education courses earned at Mid Michigan College to participating four-year institutions in Michigan.

Mid Michigan College is a participating member in MiTransfer Pathways, a Statewide agreement that identifies courses students should complete as a part of an associate degree that will transfer seamlessly toward a bachelor degree and simplify the transfer process. Mid's Business Studies Pathway is part of MiTransfer Pathways and can provide you with guidance about transferring specific courses to multiple colleges and universities in Michigan.
