The Associate in Applied Science: Medical Assistant program is accredited through CAAHEP - Committee on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and (CRB-AAMAE) – The Curriculum Review Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment. Accreditation for this program was obtained on April 30th, 1999.
The Training Credential: Pharmacy Technician program accreditation process is currently under way through ASHP – Associate Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

MMCC follows the AQIP Pathway for reaccreditation with the Higher Learning Commission. The AQIP Pathway infuses the principles and benefits of continuous quality improvement into the culture of colleges and universities in order to assure and advance the quality of higher education. Institutional Action Projects

This annual event is held to formally recognize those students who will be graduating with honors and/or receiving special recognition awards. Each honored student will receive a certificate of academic achievement in recognition of their scholastic success. Also honored will be recipients of Special Recognition Awards. These students have been selected by faculty and/or departmental administrators because of a special contribution to their field of study or the College. Recipients of these awards will be given a special certificate and a silver cord to wear with graduation attire.
MMCC's Commencement ceremony symbolizes the culmination of a student's academic efforts. It is an important and exciting day for students, their family, and their friends. Academic Services is an integral part of that day with faculty participating as marshalls and name readers for the ceremony.
PerkinsThe purpose of the Carl D Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act of 2006 is to provide an increased focus on the academic achievement of career and technical education students, strengthen the connections between secondary and postsecondary education and improve state and local accountability by:
- building on the efforts of states to develop challenging academic and technical standards and to assist students in meeting the standards, including preparation for high-skill, high-wage or high-demand occupations in current or emerging professions
- promoting the development of services and activities that integrate rigorous and challenging academic and technical instruction and link secondary and postsecondary education for participating students
- developing more fully the academic, vocational, and technical skills of secondary and post-secondary students who elect to enroll in vocational technical education programs
- promoting leadership and professional development and improves the quality of career and technical education faculty, administrators, and counselors
- supporting partnerships among educational levels, business and industry, and local advisory boards providing individuals with opportunities throughout their lifetimes to develop the knowledge and skills needed to remain competitive
