MMCC is working on a new project called SyllabUS.
The Syllabus Upload System will provide our faculty an easy way to upload each semester's syllabi into a searchable database. Students will be able to search for past syllabi by instructor, semester, or course.
This system is being created in response to requests by our students to provide centrally located information about specific classes. In addition, we would like to provide course information to students who may be unfamiliar with our courses, such as students taking courses with us through the Michigan Community College Virtual Learning Collaborative.
We expect the initial project to be complete and ready for beta testing during Fall semester, 2009 Semester with full implementation by Winter, 2010. We will post information about the project here as we progress.
